This week’s classmate conversation question asked: What do you think the college experience will be like for a student in 2036? I had the pleasure of talking to a couple of scientists in my field. Marcelo Ceballos is currently a fifth year at CalState Long Beach, he is studying Biology and Amanda Martinez is also a fifth year, currently studying Environmental Science. It’s an awesome question and we all agreed that our educational system would be very different from what is known in today’s world. There would be more online-based classes and online interaction instead of the traditional face-to-face learning. There might also be some new technology that allows students to study better and more efficiently in the future without distractions to help the focus of younger generations and sharpen their minds for an even more technological future.
